Dear VOPAC member
Welcome to Autumn and your October news.
As most of you will be aware, in September our main event was our annual exhibition in the Memorial Hall. As always, the exhibition illustrated the breadth and depth of members work, featuring the work of both beginners and professional artists.  Even though the exhibition was limited to four days, this year there was an excellent amount of interest.
in October we resume our monthly demonstrations. Dave Jeffery will show us how he uses watercolour, acrylic and mixed media to create beautiful landscape paintings. This demonstration will be at 7pm, 12th October in the Whistler room, Pickering Memorial Hall.  You can find out more about Dave and his work at
We will have our ‘New to You’ Table available on the 12th where you might pick up a bargain. We are looking forward to seeing both new and old members.
Don’t forget our monthly Wednesday evening practical evenings The next meeting will be on 18th October in the Memorial Hall, and the topic will be Autumn.  Participants can also work on their own projects if they wish.
As always we welcome new ideas and comments from members so do feel able to contact the Committee. Also, we continue to need new committee members to assist with the running of this fantastic club.
