Dear Club Member,

We trust you are all keeping safe and well. We hope you enjoyed last month’s challenge to paint from photo of the heather or something from your garden. Do have a look at your work on the web site. Thanks to Mike Drawneek for this month’s photo – enjoy painting and please send us your results at the club address below.

A selection of the paintings submitted for the Club Calendar Competition is also on the web site for you to view and vote, if you haven’t already done so. The vote closes on Monday 20th July.

We are working to improve the web site and expect to have an exciting new look by the end of the summer.

We are also considering having our first Outdoor Painting Day of the season on Thursday 13th August, which would have been the Painting Challenge Day. We will keep you informed.

Some of you may be interested to know that Patchings Art Festival will be available in a virtual format on line, see You may have to enrol for Painters Online to view the full range of videos, demonstrations and exhibitions. Don’t forget there are videos and free tuition available on line to help keep you going artistically; some suggestions are listed below.;; (search 505 best art tuition) 10 free watercolour courses, many others for £19.99

Keep busy and keep painting. It would be great to have even more of your amazing work to celebrate at the exhibition in September which we are hoping to run with suitable precautions.

Take care and Best Wishes from your VOPAC committee.
