April 2021 Covid update

Dear Members,

Coronavirus may still be with us, but there is light at the end of the tunnel.

The committee are planning to gradually resume some activities in a covid safe way, starting with a monthly evening demonstration on Thursday May 13th at 7pm. This time however, it will be delivered via zoom and open to members only, as it is still too soon for large gatherings.

If the national recovery from Covid restrictions continues as hoped, we will bring you a live demonstration at the Memorial Hall on Thursday June 10th. Seats will be limited to 30 members only, socially distanced and masks may still need to be worn. No fee for members, but booking will be essential to secure a seat.

We also hope to bring you the Friday and Wednesday Practical sessions, starting in May. Again, numbers will be limited and distanced.

Please check the events calendar, or phone a committee member to be sure these events are taking place, before you travel. Always bring a mask (unless exempt) and be considerate to other members.

For the foreseeable future, sadly, refreshments will NOT be provided. Do feel free to bring along your own as we will still have a break and a chat, responsibly distanced of course!

Events will also be limited to members only, for the time being.

We heartily look forward to welcoming guests again as soon as it is possible and will let you know via this website when that happens.

Stay safe, stay healthy and keep being creative.

Best wishes,

your VOPAC Committee
